Reservation is the biggest measure towards improving the prospects of an individual or a family .It is in a way the best measure a State can provide to citizens who feel discriminated and regarded as socially and educationally backward.All the more reason it should be exercised properly to benefit the most deserving.Doing away with reservation will widen the gaps in society and create unrest.It will also deprive the State of the most important tool it has to engineer social change.
