Is there something called perfection about anything? When the world around is constantly evolving and Language and Literature which are the mirror to this world are forever dynamic, perfection is a distant dream. Rather assuming such a state is itself a fallacy. A real student will rather apply to the task with sincerity and dedication.
An important thing is to make a beginning with reading the basic texts on the language, poetry, novel, drama,prose and criticism. As awareness of the language and its Literature deepens, one gains confidence and starts to acquire a reasonable grasp of things, for perfection is simply unattainable.
As you may realise the process is the more interesting part than the certification. If this effort can generate love and admiration towards the language and its Literature, it may be the beginning of an exciting journey.
