I was walking down the pathway in the park.I felt I was walking on the mountain green. I had a vision of Wordsworth climbing the hills and meadows with his lamb by his side. It was indeed an overwhelming feeling. I still feel so. But as I left the park and started to reach home, I felt the headiness diminishing by the minute. The rays of the early Sun, the fragrance of the eglantine, the blossoming oleander, the brown butterfly fluttering its wings over a Neem bud and the cool dewy breeze. All that could have caused that feeling.May be Nature arranged all this for me. It was a symphony of sorts, touching my soul buried under the leaden weight of life’s routine.
Oh! God and Goddess. Forgive my indifference. But Oh that feeling; that I was on top of the world, that I was near to something, that the soul had left its form to reach out to the everlasting divine. Let this stay, this epiphanous vision. Although it is brief, it will find a place again and again in my life ‘s melody.
