From the writings of Rabindranath Tagore, Bibhuti Bhushan, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Sarat Chandra, from the films of Satyajit Ray, Shyam Benegal, Ritwik Ghatak, Mrinal Sen, Aparna Sen i had a few notions in my head. I have been an ardent admirer of the intellectual spirit of this city.     Part-2 Vocabulary

    Improving your vocabulary becomes easy when we start observing how language behaves since language is a system which is undergoing a process of continuous evolution. A small example towards this evolutionary nature of language (English in this case) becomes evident when we look at these sentences from Shakespeare, “Bring me to Octavius” in the manner of take me to Octavius where as bring as a verb today means fetching “This thou shall suddenly” in the manner of quickly whereas suddenly today would mean, ‘without notice’. “Let us remove” in the sense, let us leave this place.

    Children, Technology and Education at Invoked 4.0

    This time at invoked 4.0 I was pleasantly surprised to be interviewed by two kids from the US; Ariel and Ellis. They were doing a series of sessions with the panel speakers, guests and educationists on the importance of leadership. The questions were not rehearsed. Hence my answers were nearly impromptu. The first question about leadership gave me thoughts about what is it that makes a leader?

    The Study of History

    After I completed my +2, I tried to get into a BSC course. It so happened that the seats in BSC those days were highly in demand and I could not get a BSC ZPC or BZC. When I was drifting aimlessly and unable to decide what to do next, opportunity knocked and I got admission into B.A (H.E.P).History, English, Political Science mainly because I studied Advanced English in my +2. This course was called B.A (Litt) during those days.

It is Sun and rain which alternate in nearly symmetrical patterns that make me enthusiastic.
